Yury Revich was born on the 28th of August 1991 in Moscow. He began playing the violin at the age of 5. When he was 7 years old he entered the Central Music School supervised by Moscow State Conservatoire, the class of the Honored Member of Arts of Russian Federation G.S. Turchaninova. Since 2005 till 2009 Yury had been a pupil of the People's Artist of Russia, V.A. Pickaizen.

In 2009 he entered in Konservatorium Wien in class of Prof. Pavel Vernikov and is currently living in Vienna. Yury also took part in master-classes of M. Rostropovitch, M. Vengerov, L. Isakadze, Dm. Sitkovetsky, P. Vernikov, Z. Bron, P. Frank, H. Schunk, R. Nodel, M.Gaisler.

In May 2009 Yury debuted with solo recital in CARNEGIE-HALL (New York, Weill Recital Hall). Yury also had recitals in different countries of the world, such as Austria (recent débuts in concert included Musikverein Wien, Radiokulturhaus Wien), Canada (Toronto, Glenn Gould Studio), Finland, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece (with organist Karen Christianson during Spring Organ Series Festival Athens). And also performed in France, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Norway, Israel, Swiss, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Morocco. He has also performed in many international Festivals, such as Verbier Festival and Academy, Vladimir Spivakov's Festival in Colmar (France), Rostropovich Festival in Baku (Azerbaijan), Liana Isakadze's Festival in Batumy (Georgia), Nikolai Petrov's Festival "The Music Kremlin", "Spring in Moscow", "Radio "Orpheus" introduces", Lubov Kazarnovskaya Festival, Bergen Music Festival, the Festival of music in Kaunas ,Mozart and Tchaikovsky Festival in Israel and in Paris, "Musica in Villa" in Italy, Eilat Festival in Israel and others.

Yury has been performing in many Concert halls of Russia, all the halls of Moscow Conservatoire including Great Hall, Moscow International Music House, Moscow Central Concert Hall "Russia", Tchaikovski Concert Hall, Armoury Chamber of the Kremlin and many others. Many Russian cities and towns have hosted Yury as a participant. Yury has also performed with the Russian National Orchestra conducted by M. Pletnev, with Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Yuri Simonov, with "Moscow Soloists" conducted by Yu. Bashmet, with Svetlanov State Symphony Orchestra conducted by A. Slutcky, with Georgian-German Chamber Orchestra conducted by L. Isakadze, Morocco Royal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Reshetkin, with the Chamber Orchestra "The Kremlin" conducted by Rachlevski, with Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra, with the Finnish Symphony student Orchestra "Ristavesi" conducted by T. Pogani, with which he performed Paganiny's Concerto Nr. 2 at the age of 11 and others. He also travelled around Russia and performed with many philharmonic orchestras.

Yury is the prize winner of the International Competition "Virtuoses of the XXI Century" in Moscow, of the International Competition "Oldenburg Promenade" in Oldenburg, David Oistrach International violin competition in Moscow, OEJAB International Competition in Vienna, Fidelio Competition in Vienna, Individualis Competition in Kiev and International Kloster-Schontal violin competition, Germany. He is also laureate of Chamber Music competitions - "Beethoven’s days in Moscow" and "New Names" competition. He has won the prize from Festival "Homecoming"

He has appeared in the ensemble with Liana Isakadze, Boris Brevity, Denis Kozhuckhin, Evgeny Tonkha, Nina Kogan, Richard Dubugnon, Alissa Margulis, Eniko Magyar, Jakob Koranyi etc. Also Yury has won first public prize of Weinheim violin master-course.

In 2005 and 2010 he won M. Rostropovitch's grant. Yury is a participant in "Vladimir Spivakov's International Fund Programme" and recipient scholarship of Yu Rozum Foundation. Yury Revich was recently chosen as the recipient of a Career Grant from the Rachel Elizabeth Barton Foundation. He has also won the National Prize "Christmas Star". He is also possessor of medal for "Generous deeds of the glory of motherland". He is the first prize winner of Guzik Foundation. In 2008 the French master Alan Karbonar has made a violin especially for Yury and has presented it to him. Yury also under the invitation of the Stradivari Society has performed on violins by Guarneri del Gesu "Ex-Max Rostal" and Stradivari "Duke Alba". In 2010 debuted as a violist in Theatre Bouffes du Nord in Paris. He is participant of ORF Radio Austrua program for musicians.

Yury is also established in Vienna Quatuor du Soleil and International Soloists Chamber Group.
