Julius loves singing Pop, Pop-opera, Broadway and Jazz. His idols are some of the greats in the entertainment industry such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Pavarotti and Gé Korsten.

He made his stage debut at age 13 and after that utilised as many an occasion as possible to entertain audiences – young and old enjoying his beautiful voice.

He entered the South African Championships of Performing Arts in 2003, winning several medals and also the title “Overall Male Vocalist (Age 13 – 17)”. His final school exams however, prevented him from joining Team South Africa to partake in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, U.S.A.

The following year sees him re-enrolling for the South African Championships of Performing Arts, and receiving the highest merit by being crowned as “Grand Champion”. This time round nothing stood in his way to reach the highest accolade in Los Angeles. Julius kicked dust into the faces of his fellow competitors by scooping up the grand prize that of “Champion of the World (2004)”

One of his rewards was to be auditioned by Francesca Von Douglas and to subsequently record a CD single at Nuova Trend Studios (2005) with producers Stevie Bensusan and Claudio, known for their work with performers like Kenny G and Boyz2Men.
