The sounds of angels will ring out through the Nazareth House Chapel in Pretoria on 6 September 2009, when Michelle Veenemans and friends make the spirits soar in Musica Angelica. A selection of beautiful, ethereal sacred songs, traditional spirituals and arias from oratorios is on the menu of this one-off performance, featuring top soprano Veenemans, pianist Paul Ferreira and Gerrit Koorsen on cello. In addition, the concert will include the massed voices of the Magaliesberg Children’s Choir, under the baton of Hannelie van Sittert and accompanied by Alwyn van Heerden, ensuring a musical encounter that buoys the soul while captivating the ear.
