Michelle Veenemans in Western Cape fundraiser concert
Robust baritone Riaan Hunter, thrilling coloratura Michelle Veenemans and the exciting SA Youth Choir in one unforgettable concert.
The SAMA nominated South African Youth Choir again graced the stage at this year’s Huisgenoot Skouspel Plus with their contagious energy and excellent musicianship, And now this prolific choir, conducted by internationally acclaimed, highly innovative conductor Andre van der Merwe with Elzeth Germishuys as accompanist, will join forces with two formidable soloists in an unforgettable concert.
Riaan Hunter, the baritone with the beautiful, rich voice, and superb Pretoria based coloratura soprano Michelle Veenemans, will collaborate with the choir in a highly exciting programme that will include popular pieces such as Lloyd Webber’s Music of the Night, Granada, the Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's Magic Flute, Ebben? Ne Andro Lontana from La Wally by Catalani, Volare, New York New York and many more firm favourites.
Proceeds will go towards the Living Network Crisis Centre, an organisation providing care for people in dire need.
