The vocalist ensemble hailing from St. Petersburg see it as their goal to keep in the Russian traditions of church music and bring motets of the Eastern Church closer to Western people. Therefore, the programme basically consists of liturgical motets and psalms. The a capella programme also includes various folk songs. These professional singers each have a relevant wide musical education. In their homeland they are engaged as soloists in operas and in concerts. The members of the  visiting ensemble  were  Vladimir Matygulin (Counter tenor), Igor Voznyy (Tenor), Dmitry Taneev (Baritone) and Pavel Kravchenko (Bass).  On tour with them was their managing agent Natalia Aksyuticheva. The guest performer at their two performances in Johannesburg was South African soprano Michelle Veenemans accompanied by pianist Paul Ferreira.
