“It was an honour and privilege to have known this humble man personally”, says Hannie Hefer.

In his own words:

“I would definitely choose a career in music again if I had to travel back in time. Music took me to very interesting destinations around the globe, where I met fascinating people and made new friends while enjoying the exhilarating performances of some of the best young musicians in the world.”

Interviewed by Berthine van Schoor for ClassicSA – 06.07.2012

John Roos’ memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19th, at 11:00 am at the Hervormde Kerk, Pretoria-Oos, 100 Dely Road, Waterkloof Park, Pretoria.
